According to news on June 6, the international release date of Apple’s much-anticipated mixed reality head-mounted display device Vision Pro is finally approaching. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Vision Pro will begin shipping to non-U.S. markets before mid-June. Apple is expected to officially announce its international release plans during its WWDC keynote on June 10, at which time the exact release date will also be announced.
Ming-Chi Kuo said that the following countries and regions will be the first markets to receive Vision Pro:
-
U.K.
-
France
-
Germany
-
China
-
Japan
-
Singapore
These countries and regions are important markets for Apple’s new products, and I believe more regions will be added to the list in the future.
In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo’s current forecast for Vision Pro’s global shipments in 2024 remains unchanged at 400,000-450,000 units.
The international launch of Vision Pro coincides with the release of its first major software update, visionOS 2, which is widely believed to bring more native apps, new home screen customization options, and other feature upgrades.
