According to Tianyancha, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has recently added multiple patent information, one of which is titled "VR Optical Module and VR Device," with the publication number CN117666137A.
The patent abstract indicates that this application discloses a VR optical module and VR device, belonging to the VR technology field. The VR optical module includes a first lens, a second lens, and a beam splitter arranged sequentially from the image source to the human eye. One surface of the two opposite surfaces of the first lens has at least one light focal point, and one surface of the two opposite surfaces of the second lens serves as a partially reflective surface. The image source generates a beam with a first polarization state carrying the image to be projected. The first lens transmits the beam with the first polarization state to the second lens. The second lens transmits the beam with the first polarization state to the beam splitter. The beam splitter reflects a portion of the beam with the first polarization state to the partially reflective surface of the second lens. The partially reflective surface of the second lens reflects the beam to the beam splitter. The beam splitter receives the beam with the second polarization state and transmits it to the human eye. This application improves the quality of the virtual image and reduces the cost and size of VR devices.
