March 18th news: In recent times, there has been a constant stream of information regarding the Meta Quest 3 Lite (the entry-level version of the Quest 3) headset. This headset, codenamed Ventura, is reported by the foreign media Android Authority to be expected for release by Meta sometime this year.

It is reported that the Quest 3 Lite headset has allegedly removed the passthrough "cameras" present in the Quest 3 headset. In terms of performance, this entry-level version of the Quest 3 has upgraded its chip to the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2, while other specifications "are almost identical to the Quest 2."
Based on previous reports, Meta launched the Quest 3 headset in September last year. The headset is equipped with the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, 8GB of built-in RAM, and is priced at $499.99 (approximately ¥3648 RMB), which is $200 more than the Quest 2.
