On April 12th, StarSpace Meizu Group announced that the MYVU AR smart glasses are officially available in all offline stores of Dr. Glasses nationwide.
Stores in cities such as Wuhan, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanchang, Chongqing, Qingdao, among others, have already opened for experiential visits. Stores in other cities are also gradually being added, and consumers can visit Dr. Eye stores for experiences.
StarSpace Meizu Group stated that this collaboration marks MYVU as the first AR smart glasses brand to officially enter Dr. Glasses as an exclusive smart glasses section partner. It is also an important attempt at channel innovation for MYVU in the AR industry.
MYVU also utilizes Dr. Eye's offline stores for its eyeglass fitting service, offering a variety of myopic lenses for nearsighted users to meet different user needs.
With the introduction of MYVU AR smart glasses into Dr. Eye's nationwide offline stores, Star Magic Meizu Group will leverage Dr. Eye's extensive store network and professional eyeglass fitting services to further expand the retail channels for MYVU AR smart glasses.
As the first AR product released by StarSpace Meizu Group, the MYVU AR smart glasses weigh 43g and are touted as the world's first mass-produced AR smart glasses with resin diffraction waveguide technology. They are also equipped with the world's smallest 0.3cc Micro LED monochrome light engine among AR smart glasses.
In terms of interaction, the MYVU AR smart glasses are equipped with the Flyme AR operating system and can also achieve seamless connectivity with Meizu smartphones through Flyme Link technology.
