April 22 news, Ofilm Group released its 2023 annual report. During the reporting period, the company achieved an operating income of 16.863 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.73%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 76.905 million yuan, turning losses into profits.

During the reporting period, the company continued to strengthen the development of products in new areas, with a multi-faceted layout in smart door locks, action cameras, industrial and medical, and VR/AR optical and optoelectronic businesses. Leveraging its high-growth industry market scale, solid customer base, and advanced R&D capabilities, the company significantly increased the revenue proportion of these new areas. This makes the new domain businesses a crucial growth contributor for the company's future.
The report points out that in the future, as the market continues to increase its requirements for the economic efficiency, comfort, and immersion of VR/AR-related devices, terminal products will gradually extend from PCs and all-in-one machines to pure headsets and other types of products. The focus will shift from primarily entertainment to further breakthroughs in areas such as office work, education, engineering, healthcare, and military applications. However, there is still significant room for improvement in the maturity of VR/AR products currently on the market. Many products have limitations in user experience, content ecosystem, and technological stability. For VR/AR optical machines, the company has laid out technical routes including LCOS waveguide modules, BIRD BATH binocular optical machine modules, LED waveguide modules, and PANCAKE optical machine solutions. Additionally, the company's 3D ToF solutions are widely used in the AR/VR field.
The report also indicates that Ofilm plans to change the use of some of the raised funds. The planned investment amount for the "High-Pixel Optical Lens Construction Project" will be reduced by 200 million yuan. The funds will be allocated to a new fundraising investment project, the "Optical Lens and Lens Production Line Project of Hefei Jingchao Optical Technology Co., Ltd.", engaging in the optical lens and lens business for products related to smart cars, VR/AR, industrial applications, healthcare, and action cameras.
