According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is about to start selling the Apple Vision Pro headset in countries and regions outside the United States, and retail store employees from around the world have flown to Cupertino to participate in the event. The 4-day Vision Pro training course started last week.
Apple held similar training sessions before the Vision Pro was launched in the U.S., covering how to give demonstrations to customers and answer their questions. Apple has not announced the exact launch date of Vision Pro in other countries and regions, but people familiar with the matter said that the company plans to launch Vision Pro into the international market for the first time after the WWDC24 Global Developers Conference. This year’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will be held from June 10 to 14.
According to reports, employees who participated in the training courses came from Apple retail stores in Australia, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, so these countries and regions are likely to be the first markets to receive Vision Pro after the United States. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously said that the Vision Pro will be available in more countries before WWDC, but the latest news from Bloomberg says it will be after WWDC, which is different from Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction.
U.S. interest in the Vision Pro has declined since its launch, leading Apple to reportedly cut Vision Pro shipments as a result. Selling in international markets may revive consumer interest in the device, but the $3,500 (approximately 25,340 yuan) price tag remains a major obstacle to its popularity, and Apple has not yet announced the price of the headset in non-U.S. regions.
