According to news on June 11, at the WWDC 2024 event held today, Cook officially announced that Apple Vision Pro will be launched in mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore on June 28, and will be accepted starting at 9:00 this Friday. Booking starts from 29,999 yuan in China.
Subsequently, Apple Vision Pro will be launched in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom on July 12 (pre-orders will be accepted on June 28). This is also the first time that the Apple Vision Pro headset will be sold outside the United States.
Apple says the App Store now offers more than 2,000 apps designed for Apple Vision Pro, with more than 1.5 million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps; and more that use Mac Virtual Display to work seamlessly on Mac.
According to reports, developers around the world will successively launch new applications and games for Apple Vision Pro, including China’s DingTalk, Douyin VR Live, Migu Video, Taobao, Tencent Video, Weibo, etc.
Apple Vision Pro will launch with visionOS 1.2, supporting the languages of the above countries and regions; visionOS 2 will be provided as a free update to all Vision Pro users this fall.
